A new spin on a classic game
The game
Each side has 10 buttons: 5 on each of two starting slices. Light pieces are White; dark pieces are Red. White moves first. Roll the die, move one button along your path, capture lone enemy buttons, and get every button still in play onto your home slice.
Movement
Move exactly the number rolled, one slice per pip, forward on your path. You must reach home with an exact count. Roll 2 for an extra roll after your move. If no button can use the roll, your turn is skipped.
Landing & capture
Land on empty slices or a slice with one enemy button (captured). You cannot land on two or more buttons unless they are all yours on one of your two starting slices. Two of yours on a slice block opponents. If your landing slice is blocked, the game moves you to the next open slice along your path, including home.
Winning & score
You win when every button still on the board is on your home slice only. Score is buttons in home plus captured opponent buttons—but only for whoever got every button home first. Higher score wins; on a tie, whoever reached home with all buttons first wins.
Using the app
Tap a slice to preview a move; tap elsewhere to confirm, or Undo to change. Rolls happen automatically. Tap the menu button (top left in portrait, top of the left capture column in landscape). Captured counts appear outside the board. Tournament mode: first to 23 match points from each game’s winner score.
Two players
iPhone/iPad: lay the device flat—White at the bottom of the screen, Red across the table at the top. The board stays fixed; on Red’s turn the die, home scores, and on-screen controls flip to their side. Mac: sit side by side; White at the bottom of the board, Red at the top; nothing flips.
